Michaela, I just listened to the podcast (18 months later -- oh well). The interview brought to light a couple of more things about you I enjoy. First, you are really trying to listen to your soul. That is so inspiring to me. I have been reluctant to do that for too long. Also you are helping everyone (including extroverts like me) understand how introverts can strive even when obstacles exist. What I mean by that is the myth that some obstacles are impossible to overcome. That is only true if you believe it. Althought I claim to be an extrovert, I read you blog because of specific introvert traits I am trying to understand myself. Your stories give me clarity to my own behavior. Finally, I am dating a very introverted lady who is still a mystery to me because I do not understand her behavior sometime. But again, your stories shed light on the situation. You are a blessing to the world, my dear!

Really enjoyed this podcast, we sound alike the way you express your words. What's interesting too is how the extrovert host would delve into the conversation and take away from it, but the introverted host would reel it back in. All in all it was inspiring.

I enjoy hearing that I am not alone. Picked on by other kids growing up. Told I am a social retard as an adult. Found myself not liking or trusting people and staying isolated. Was a bank teller for a while and a salesman. Found these jobs distasteful. Finally became a truck driver and worked alone and happier. Hard to find a job you will like as an introvert.

    Hi!
Im giggling for myself right now, because I'm an introvert from Sweden. I can tell you it's very introvert friendly here. So come join us in Sweden. People can sit alone in cafés reading with no problem here, and we go to the cinema alone sometimes and a lot of other stuff. Thank you for this podcast! Maria

Fun interview - yay! Thank you for the exciting look at overcoming introvert self-shame and touching on quiet charisma. I have recently been working on body language and silent signals and the results are exceptional. Thanks Michaela!!
